WHO WE ARE
H.U.G.S. (Helping Underserved Girls Succeed) Unlimited Foundation is a nonprofit mentoring program whose mission is to provide opportunities to girls in underserved communities to help foster positive relationships and to provide role mentors to help support them socially, personally and academically. This program is open to girls 15 to 18 years old.
H.U.G.S. Unlimited Mentoring Program does not, by policy or practice, discriminate against a person or group on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, gender identity and expression, marital or military status, or based on any individual’s status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.

My name is Sherita Harmon, founder of H.U.G.S. Unlimited. I am a high school teacher by day grooming our future health care professionals, a mentor, a philanthropist and a lover of people. I absolutely love what I do. Fusing education and community to build a better tomorrow.
OUR WHY
Understanding the challenges that today's teenage girls face requires compassionate, critical thinkers who bring different perspectives and who are willing to pour into the lives of others. H.U.G.S. Unlimited Mentoring Program emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support girls in underserved communities, and a desire to turn actions into words. Established in 2016, we’re an organization driven by passion to see others succeed, courageous actions of care and concern, and a strong foundation of support. Contact us to learn more and get involved.

MENTOR AND MENTEE MEET-UPS
One-On-One Sessions
This Program is designed to provide an opportunity to have a one-on-one relationship with a mentor who is committed to helping to cultivate the mentee into her best self.
Through these relationships, as well as recreational and group activities, mentors provide friendship, support, and guidance to the mentee.
A simple hug can soothe the soul.
